Kaka has stressed that Cristiano Ronaldo has the full support of his Real Madrid team-mates in the wake of his admission that he is unhappy at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portugal international cited 'a professional issue' as the reason behind his revelation, but the Brazilian has made it clear that he has the backing of his colleagues on the matter.
"Cristiano is a key player for Real Madrid, and he knows that he has the full support of the team," Kaka told reporters.
"The most important thing is that he is feeling well and is happy because he is very important for us. We will all support him."
Kaka was widely linked with a move away from the Spanish capital throughout the summer, only to fail to secure a move, but the 30-year-old is adamant that he will fight for his place in Jose Mourinho's first team.
"It motivates me to know that I'm one of them and I will be ready when the time comes," he enthused.
"People on the street tell me that they expect me to play, and I know that I have the support of the crowd, who have always treated me well.
"The Supercopa was a demonstration that Real Madrid are ready to win titles this season. I want to play in the World Cup in Brazil. I hope to have a run here, then get back to my top level."
Ronaldo was expected to speak to the press in Portugal on Monday morning as part of a tribute to Sporting scout Aurelio Pereira, but the attacker did not show up at the event for reasons unknown as of yet.
