The Rossoneri captain has assured supporters that the club will perform to a higher standard and has stressed there is no need to panic at their current plight
Massimo Ambrosini admits AC Milan are not performing to their full potential but insists he and his team-mates can and will improve.
The veteran midfielder explained that the Rossoneri often make a feeble start to their campaigns and although he is unsure of what their final position will be, he knows their fortunes will change for the better

"Right now I do not know our true value, in the sense that the team are not expressing their talent to the fullest.
"Do not worry, we are only at the beginning of the season and Milan have historically struggled to start the season well. In other words, we can and must do better."
The 35-year-old went on to discuss the quality of the rest of the division and claimed he had not been impressed with the standard on show.
"Where can we get and what we can do will dictate the rest of the field, but we are Milan and I do not think that the opposition have shown that much class, apart from the two at the top," he added.
Milan are currently 11th in Serie A with a total of seven points from seven games.
