Baresi: Too many changes at Milan

AC Milan legend Franco Baresi says the club's recent woes are a result of "too many changes" at the San Siro.

With big names Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Alessandro Nesta and Clarence Seedorf all departing the Rossoneri in the summer, Milan have had an embarrassing start to the season and Baresi says the departure of so many top-line players is responsible.

"Milan this year are a different team," he told Sky Sport Italia. "There were choices made by the board members to try and instigate a generational change.

"I think, maybe, there were too many changes made at the same time, but the fans will stick with the club.
"This is not an atypical Milan team, but we will see what happens."

Massimiliano Allegri's side have lost six of their first 11 games in all competitions, and currently sit in 15th place in Serie A.
