AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has forced the Rossoneri's players into a week-long training retreat but admits he has no idea if it will be enough to help revive the club's ailing campaign.

Massimiliano Allegri's side recordedanother loss against Lazio on Saturday - their fourth defeat in the opening eight games of the season - with the result prompting Galliani to invoke the old Italian tradition of 'ritiro' and confine the players to the Milanello training complex.
However, the Milan vice president is uncertain whether the move will be enough to see the Rossoneri kick-start their campaign ahead of fixtures against Malaga in the Champions League and Genoa in Serie A.
"I assume the responsibility for this action but I do not know whether this measure will help," Galliani told Sky Italia.
"However, in the meantime, all of the players will be able to think about what is happening right now."
Allegri's future as manager has been the subject of intense speculation and he admitted after the 3-2 defeat to Lazio that "it's normal that if the team is not getting results the coach will come under scrutiny".
