Champions League Round of 16 Predictions

George turns to the business end of this year's Champions League. Here are his predictions for the results of the first legs to be played this week.

Galatasaray v Shalke 04

With great support at home and Drogba and Sneijder as new signings expect Gala to come through 2-0 in Istanbul.

Celtic v Juventus

Celtic have great spirit at home but Juve have the class. Juve got a draw away to Chelsea in the Group Stage and we expect the same again, 1-1.

Valencia v PSG

PSG had a good group stage and we think they'll get a draw in Spain with an underwhelming Valencia side, 1-1 or 2-2.

Porto v Malaga

An all-Iberian clash between two of the "smaller" clubs left in the competition. Porto to edge it but we think there will be goals, 2-1 to the home side.

Arsenal v Bayern

Bayern are in very good form, Arsenal have problems at the back, recipe for an away win? No, 2-1 to the Arse.

Shaktar Donetsk v Dortmund

Dortmund have injury problems and were thrashed 4-1 at home by Hamburg at the weekend. Home win 2-0 in Donetsk.

AC Milan v Barcelona

This match ended all square 0-0 last season at the San Siro in the quarterfinals. A draw looks odds on again 1-1 or 0-0 again.

Real Madrid v Manchester United

Ronaldo and Benzema versus Rooney and RVP. We are going for a 2-1 home win for the Spanish champions.
