Soccer - Suarez vows to give his all

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has pledged to try his best to help the Reds enjoy a successful campaign after making his first appearance of the season. Suarez lasted the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 Capital One Cup defeat at Manchester United and is eager to play a full part when Liverpool head to Sunderland on Sunday. The South American, who is 14/1 with bet365 to be top Premier League goalscorer this season, told his club's official website: "All the time I try my best on the pitch. I'm here to help the team and help Liverpool and I'll try my best. "I know it was a difficult moment, but for myself and for the team it's very important I'm back because I can help the team and (being) off the pitch I can't. "We'll keep going for the (rest of the) week and for the next game." Suarez netted 30 goals in all competitions last season, having scored 17 times during the 2011/12 campaign. ‎
