Hart forced to wait for recall

Manuel Pellegrini is expected to start with Costel Pantilimon rather than Joe Hart in goal for Manchester City's Premier League clash with Tottenham on Sunday. Hart has not featured in City's team since his last-minute howler gifted Chelsea a victory on 27th October, although he played well at Wembley on Tuesday night against Germany, although England eventually ran out 1-0 losers. Manchester City are available at 6/4 with bet365 to keep a clean sheet against Spurs and are 8/1 to win the match 2-0. Hart, however, could earn a recall in next week's Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen, with City having already qualified for the last 16.

Rodgers ponders left-back problem

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will have to decide who to use at left-back for this weekend's Merseyside derby as Jose Enrique has broken down in training. The 27-year-old Spaniard is now set to undergo surgery on the knee problem which he has struggled with for the last two months. Rodgers is expected to start with Aly Cissokho, Mamadou Sakho or Glen Johnson at left-back against Everton. "Jose has been struggling for a while with an injury and it looks like he will need an operation," confirmed Rodgers. "That's a blow for us because he's a very talented player." A Liverpool victory in the Merseyside derby is priced at 7/5 with bet365, while Steven Gerrard is available at 11/1 to open the scoring at Goodison Park.‎
