Soccer - Pellegrini up for Chelsea showdown

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini hopes to have a fully-fit squad for the Premier League showdown with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Captain Vincent Kompany sat out the midweek Champions League victory away at CSKA Moscow, but is expected to be in contention to face the Blues come the weekend. Pellegrini said after success in the Russian capital: "We are now starting to think about this game with Chelsea. It is a very tough game, but we don't have any injury problems with the squad. "Vincent Kompany and all the other players are fit, so we are in a good shape." The Citizens are fourth in the Premier League table, just a point behind Chelsea in second, with Arsenal currently three points ahead of City at the top-flight summit. Soccer - Suarez vows to give his all

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has pledged to try his best to help the Reds enjoy a successful campaign after making his first appearance of the season. Suarez lasted the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 Capital One Cup defeat at Manchester United and is eager to play a full part when Liverpool head to Sunderland on Sunday. Soccer - Mourinho continues to impress Terry

Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that Jose Mourinho has already instilled an 'us against the world' mentality at Stamford Bridge. Shaktar Donetsk v Dortmund

Dortmund have injury problems and were thrashed 4-1 at home by Hamburg at the weekend. Home win 2-0 in Donetsk.

AC Milan v Barcelona

This match ended all square 0-0 last season at the San Siro in the quarterfinals. A draw looks odds on again 1-1 or 0-0 again.

Real Madrid v Manchester United

Ronaldo and Benzema versus Rooney and RVP. We are going for a 2-1 home win for the Spanish champions.
